| Honor Chapman, CBE Honor is the Chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle Global Consulting. International Director since 1979, responsible for the establishment and development of the Property Consulting and Research Department. Previous to that she was a partner in Nathaniel Lichfield and Partners one the premier Urban Economics Consultancies in the UK which she helped to set up. She holds M.Phil in Town Planning and BSc in Estate Management; is a Sloan Fellow of the London Business School, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and an Honorary Fellow of the Society of Property Researchers. Other appointments include Crown Estate Commissioner, Main Board Member of the Legal and General Group plc, Member of the Finance Committee of the Goldsmith's Company and Chairman of LPACs London Office Review Panel. From November 1993 to July 1995 Honor was seconded half time as Chief Executive of the London First Centre the new Agency set up for marketing London world-wide and to attract and facilitate the location of international firms in London; remains on the Board. She has been a Board Member of Cardiff Bay Urban Development Corporation (Chairman Development Sub-Committee), a Board Member of English Estates, a Member of the Department of the Environment's Property Advisory Group and a Governor of the Centre for Economic Policy Research. Honor was made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in the 1997 Queens New Years Honours List for her services to the Property Industry and in 1998 was given the College of Estate Management Award for a lifetimes contribution to the Property Industry. |
