Fiona Trott

I was appointed Membership Secretary at the AGM in November 1992. I maintain the database of members' records; circulate newsletters and other fliers; as SPR Events Coordinator, I act as contact point for all SPR meetings; send out information packs to interested parties and provide support for the Special Interest Groups. The annual production of the Directory is my responsibility and I have also provided the impartial and confidential analysis of the questionnaires of the biennial salary survey! I also have the dubious title of Webmistress, which sometimes feels more like being caught in the spider's variety rather than dealing with the Internet!!

As part of my former life, I worked for two years in the Research Department of what was then Jones Lang Wootton, when it was a shade of its current self, based in Mount Street. I indexed the Estates Times for inhouse journalists up until its demise, and for a short while, I operated a recruitment agency for information professionals in the property industry with my dear friend Mary Moody.

SPR is just one of my clients, as I run an information consultancy from home, as well as teaching information and research skills to 11 and 12 year olds at a local girls' private school. I am based in the heart of beautiful Constable Country and am actively involved in the local primary school and church. I have three boys, one of whom is taller than me! who keep me on my toes.
