With US$125 billion of cross-border flows 2011, a rise of 47% on 2010, the global real estate market is becoming increasingly integrated. Driven by the need to source stock, minimise risk, increase returns and maximise diversification, investors are no longer satisfied to be restricted to one geographic region. To examine these trends, a high-profile list of presenters was assembled. Their analysis looked at the economic and real estate trends in major global cities across both developed and emerging countries. They also considered various scenarios for the medium term – including how the Eurozone crisis is impacting on other markets.
