Vanessa is an associate within AECOM’s Economics team. Based in London, her team carries out project specific feasibility studies of coastal and mountain resorts, hotels, leisure attractions, stadiums and mixed use developments throughout Europe, South America and the Middle East. Prior to joining AECOM in September 2011, Vanessa worked at LaSalle Investment Management as a UK financial analyst. She also gained more than three years experience as a European strategy analyst. Research projects included Paris region office rental growth forecasts and the French Construction Cost Index forecast. In June 2008, Vanessa presented the latter research paper at the annual European Real Estate Society conference in Krakow, Poland.

Her experience as an engineer at Sinclair Knight Merz included a secondment in Turin, Italy to assist the monitoring of time, budgets and costs of the 72 projects inherent to the 2006 Winter Olympic Games. Vanessa was responsible for reporting progress to the tendering station ‘Agency Turin 2006’.

Vanessa completed an MEng in European Civil Engineering at the University of Warwick and an MSc in European Property Development & Planning at University College London. The course included a work placement at IPD France in Paris. Vanessa is bilingual in English and Italian and fluent in French.
