Sustainable cities and better climate: what’s the impact on investment returns?

Global cities are facing unprecedented challenges caused by big mega-trends. This seminar will focus on how different cities are responding to these challenges and opportunities.

Global cities are facing unprecedented challenges caused by big mega-trends such as the impact of mass urbanisation, huge migratory population shifts, social inequality and devastating climate change straining their resources, infrastructure and the built environment. At the same time, new development opportunities for cities are being created by increased demand among consumers for more inclusive, environmentally friendly and community-focused environments to live, work and shop in, enabled by new technology.

This seminar will focus on how different cities are responding to these challenges and opportunities, and whether ESG considerations related to cities and planned urbanisation trends tend to lead to better long-term real estate investment returns and more sustainable economic growth.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
