Seminar: Placemaking: Unlocking the value of retail

Placemaking is a term used widely to represent a multitude of things but fundamentally refers to the creation of a vibrant, successful place where people enjoy living, working and spend time.

In this joint seminar with Cambridge University Land Society we will discuss the role retail has to play in creating a place and enhancing value.

There will be a presentation showing analysis of the impact of retail and the opportunities for it to do so within London.  This will be followed by case studies and lessons learnt from those designing and implementing schemes with a retail focus.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
