As Head of Research for BMO Real Estate Partners (BMO REP), Joanna Tano is responsible for driving strategic initiatives across the European platform, focusing on thematic investment strategies that feed business development and growth opportunities through to new product launches. Joanna sets and delivers the Research & Investment strategy, advising the business and its clients on market and sector opportunities and risks, seeking to build long-term resilient portfolios, using her experience in economic and property market analysis to inform and guide the investment decision making process.
Joanna joined BMO REP in April 2021. Prior to this she held roles that include Head of Research at Cromwell Property Group and had responsibility for Cushman & Wakefield’s research team across EMEA. Joanna has 20 years of experience in commercial real estate research and strategy through roles she held in the United Kingdom and France. She holds a Joint Honours degree in Psychology & Sociology from City, University of London.
