Tom is a Senior Analyst at Mayfair Capital. His role is to monitor UK real estate and economic trends and equate these to investment themes and strategies. He monitors Mayfair Capital’s investment funds to assess liquidity and risk. He contributes towards in-house and external publications on thematic real estate conditions. He regularly presents to Mayfair Capital’s existing and prospective investors.
Previously he was at JLL and provided research across five key sectors: Legal; Energy; TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications); Lifesciences; and Financial Services. Before that Tom worked in Sydney, Australia, for five years as an Associate for a property economics consultancy and an Associate Director - Research at Colliers International. Colliers International is Australia’s number one agency by total deal value. At Colliers International he was the regional research lead for the NSW and ACT office sectors and national lead for industrial and healthcare and retirement living.
Tom’s interests lie in exploring how research can refine and interpret multiple data sources to optimise real estate decision-making. Tom holds a BA (Hons) in Human Geography from Nottingham Trent University, an MA in Town and Country Planning from Sheffield University and an MA in Property Development from the University of Technology, Sydney. He is a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
