David Cadman was the joint-founding partner of Property Market Analysis and the founder of Upstream, a sustainability consultancy sold to Jones Lang LaSalle in November 2007. He has had a number of chairs and fellowships at the universities of Reading, Cambridge, the University of the West of England and University College London. Apart from his SPR Fellowship, he is an Honorary Fellow of the College of Estate Management and a Senior Fellow of The Princes Foundation for the Built Environment. His publications include the co-authored textbooks Property Development and Risk, Uncertainty and Decision-making in Property Development and a reflection on sustainability, The Roots of Sustainability, published by The Prince’s Foundation. He has written and lectured extensively on sustainability and property risk. He is also the author of a number of metaphysical texts including Holiness in the Everyday published by Quaker Books and A Way of Being, The King Who Lost His Memory and Three Stories published by Zig Publishing. Three More Stories were published in Autumn 2011.
