Fiona became the first Membership Secretary of SPR in November 1992. For the next 25 years she supported countless committees and looked after the membership. She kept them up to date with seminar invites, newsletters, job vacancies, salary surveys and social events. She has seen the transition from paper to electronic communication, and has overseen and updated five different websites!
As she started her 25th year, Fiona was honoured to be awarded a Fellowship of the Society in November 2016 for services rendered to SPR. In the 1980s, she worked for Honor Chapman and Gerry Blundell at Jones Lang Wootton, as it was then, in Mount Street, as part of the Research Department. Little did any of them realise at the time that in the future she would be sharing the same fellowship! What an extraordinary world!
